Gordon Khoo
Founder of The Centre Stage
Hi, I’m Gordon. I help emerging leaders move from instinct to intention, figuring out what drives them beneath the surface, then turning it into how they lead. With over 30 years of experience across six industries, I’ve seen leadership in every form, from the inspiring to the chaotic. As a Gallup-certified strengths coach, I take a no-fluff, high-honesty approach that helps people see themselves clearly and lead with confidence.
I work with driven professionals who know their “how” and want to explore their “why.” My job is simple: help them lead with clarity, purpose, and just enough humanity to make the work actually matter.
Clients I've Worked With
Working with Gordon transformed my understanding of my natural talents and how to further develop them into strengths. His ability to listen deeply and ask the right questions allowed me to explore aspects of my strengths that I hadn’t considered before. Gordon’s coaching style is both supportive and empowering. Through his guidance, I gained clarity on how to apply my greatest natural talents in my personal and professional life. I walked away not only with valuable insights but also with practical strategies to use my strengths intentionally.
Ling, Associate Lecturer
I knew Gordon personally years back before he started coaching; even back then I have seen his innate ability to take people under his wings to be a listening ear and offer guidance. His coaching journey now is a reflection of his lifelong calling.
As I shared with him my future plans, his questions helped shape my clarity on how I can leverage on my strengths to take practical steps to move forward. With this clarity, I now have a blueprint and a renewed confidence to approach decision making boldly.
Gordon takes time to think through what has been shared despite the complexity. He doesn’t rush to give solutions or skim through the complex moments. His ability to sit with it brings safety to the coaching process.
J.Sabai, Manager
Before working with Gordon, I was aware of my CliftonStrengths themes but never truly understood how they showed up in my work. During our session, Gordon helped me see my Developer strength in a completely new light. I realised how it had been quietly shaping the way I connect with and support my clients. For the first time, I could see how all my strengths come together when I coach; it was beautiful to gain that awareness!
That clarity changed how I see myself. I’ve learnt to appreciate my uniqueness, to embrace who I am even more deeply. I now understand that my strengths are not just qualities I have, they’re tools that help me hold space for others and make a difference in their lives. Working with Gordon has made me even more certain that I’m in the right career. You won’t regret working with him

You’ve got enough inspirational quotes to last three lifetimes. They’re not the issue. The real gap is a clear next step. So let’s have a focused, no-nonsense conversation about your strengths, your leadership, and what you actually want to change, not just “work on someday.”
